For most people, deciding to install solar panels on their rooftops also comes with a few questions, such as: “Would solar actually work on our house? Who sorts the paperwork? What happens if something goes wrong? Will I know how to use it?”

They’re all fair questions, and the good news is that you don’t have to work any of that out on your own. From our first phone call, right through to the moment your system is switched on, we take care of everything. But even after your system starts generating clean energy for your home, we’re on hand to answer any questions, help with any issues if they arise, and be your first point of contact when it comes to your panels.

Getting the System Right From Day One

Every one of our installations starts with a free solar survey. During this, one of our experienced engineers will visit your property and complete a thorough assessment of your roof and property. We’ll look at things like which way your roof faces, the pitch, any shading and the condition of the roof itself.

We’ll also gain an understanding of how your household uses electricity. Are you home during the day? Do you own an EV, or planning to buy one? And of course, we’ll talk about budget. Most importantly, we make sure you’ve got all of the information you need to make a decision you’re happy with.

A System Designed Around Your Roof

At Evergen, we know that no two roofs are the same, so a bespoke solar system designed to your roof is essential. Using everything we know about your energy usage and property, we design a system perfectly suited to work for you. That means placing your panels where they’ll soak up the most daylight throughout the day and across the year, and making sure that the system is designed so you get the most out of it overall.

Our Handy Monitoring App

Once everything is installed, you’ll have an easy-to-use app you can download on your phone. It’s designed with customers in mind, so you can easily track your generation and keep an eye on it all.

The app will clearly show you how much your solar panels are generating and how much is stored in your battery. It’s a super simple way to take a closer look at your system generation and see how much your panels are producing for your home.

Although issues are rare, it can also be handy for spotting any early if they do arise. We also monitor your system on your behalf, but the app means you have visibility, too.

But don’t worry, you won’t be left to figure it out on your own. On installation day, our installers will set the app up with you, walk you through the main features and make sure you feel confident using it.

Looking After You After Installation

Once your panels are up on your rooftop and producing clean energy for your home, we’ll continue to monitor your system from our office. We also have a team on hand to help with any questions or issues. We’ve been installing solar across the country since 2011, so we’ve learnt a thing or two about how to make sure our customers are getting the most from their systems.

We also take care of your certification paperwork, including your MCS certificate. You’ll need this to export energy back to the grid.
