epc

EPC stands for “Energy Performance Certificate”. An EPC is carried out by a Domestic Energy Assessor who measures and the energy efficiency of a property.

Since April 1st 2012 it has become mandatory for those looking to install Solar PV to have an EPC which shows a “D” rating or better in order to qualify for the higher FiT.

At Evergen, we have the experience and knowledge to advise you at the initial survey whether or not your property will reach a”D” rating.

All Solar PV systems installed from April 1st 2012, had to have an Energy Performance Certificate with a “D” rating or better in order to secure the higher FiT rate. If your property does not reach a grade “D”, then you will receive a much lower rate for the electricity you produce.

Evergen have Evergen will make all the necessary steps to alleviate this problem before commencing with the install.
